As authors who are also organizers we have a track record of maximizing our book tour, the book's shelf life, marketing, and finding a book's natural audience. Publishing companies no longer prioritize the promotion of books unless you are already a best-selling author or otherwise famous. Based on our experience, we know that publishing houses send the book to book reviewers, in other words a narrow range of contacts that are already deluged with books. Our philosophy is one part grassroots organizing and one part Jackie Susann, whose Valley of the Dolls sold millions of copies because she took matters into her own hands.
