FAQ About Feminist Boot Camp
What is Feminist Boot Camp?
A transformative week of feminism that can't be found anywhere else. You'll meet leaders like Shelby Knox and the Guerrilla Girls, intern for a day, and explore issues such as sexual rights, feminist art, philanthropy, and reproductive justice. Your guides will be Amy Richards and Jennifer Baumgardner, authors of Manifesta and Grassroots, and the creators of the Third Wave Foundation, the I Had an Abortion Project, and Soapbox Inc.
Days are organized by themes such as Repro Justice, Sexual Power, Feminist Art, and Philanthropy. Every session includes a Career Day that offers concrete information from leading professionals about entering the work world as well as a half-day internship with a leading feminist organization.
