what to do
First, familiarize yourself with "Who we represent," "Dates to note," and the "Hot topics" for suggested speeches. Then fill out our inquiry form.
Having the following information available will speed the process: know your general budget for the event, have some suggested dates in mind, and suggest the speaker or speakers (or topic) you are most interested in.
If you have a very small budget, it is likely we can work with it, but you will need to be flexible on who and when. Our speakers' fees range from $2,500 to $20,000—but we can arrange things for reduced prices, too, depending on the situation. If you are a booking an event for the first time, we'd be happy to help you through the process.
Please note: we love to hear from high schools (which we realize don't usually have any money for speakers) and will do everything in our power to get you a speaker if you contact us.

Ideally, leave yourself three months to nine months from the date of your event to plan.
how much it costs
The price of each Soapbox Inc: Speakers Who Speak Out speaker varies from $2,500 to $15,000 but the average is $3,500. In addition to this standard honorarium, those who book speakers are also expected to cover all normal travel expenses. This fee is due on the date of the event. The travel (or a portion of travel) is due in advance. Most of our speakers are open to some negotiating, so even if you don't have much or any budget, it's still worth inquiring.
