levine2.jpg Suzanne Braun Levine is a recognized authority on women's issues and the media. Her  book Inventing the Rest of Our Lives: Women in Second Adulthood identifies a new life stage for women; she has lectured widely on the subject and has been featured on Good Morning America, NPR and in People Magazine. She was the first editor of Ms. Magazine for seventeen years and went on to become editor in chief of the Columbia Journalism Review, the premier magazine of media criticism. She produced a Peabody Award winning documentary and is the author of Father Courage: What Happens When Men Put Family First. Her latest book Bella Abzug, published November of 2007, is an oral history about a "tough broad who pissed off Jimmy Carter, fought for women's rights and shook up politics along the way." Her essays have appeared in O: The Oprah Magazine, Newsweek, and More, where she is a contributing editor.
