Lachrista is a writer, speaker, curator, librarian, and maker. She is a consultant to organizations and universities on preventing digital violence (and teaching survivors how to cope). She has a Master’s Degree in Women’s & Gender Studies and a Master of Library and Information Science. Lachrista is a Soapbox Inc. speaker, and has spoken at colleges, universities, and nonprofits around the world about digital activism, online abuse, feminism, learning disabilities, Italianità, sexual violence, and more.
She has published two books: the first, an anthology called, Olive Grrrls: Italian North American Women & The Search For Identity, in which she was the editor, and the second, a book of poems titled, Leftovers. Lachrista’s writing was also published in the anthology, Post-Traumatically Stressed Feminist. She is currently writing a new bookrepresented through Howland Literary.
Lachrista lives in Wisconsin (with pieces of her heart in Italy and Duluth) and practices stregoneria.
