Lachrista Greco is a writer, speaker, activist, and trauma-informed yoga instructor based in Madison, Wisconsin. Lachrista is the founder of Guerrilla Feminism, a global feminist resource network for activists. She has a Master’s Degree in Women’s & Gender Studies from DePaul University. Lachrista has written articles for: Bitch Media, Ravishly, xoJane, Rebellious Magazine For Women, Elephant Journal, MindBodyGreen, Decolonizing Yoga, GirlDrive, Jezebel, and Ms. Magazine Blog. Lachrista published an anthology titled, Olive Grrrls: Italian North American Women & The Search for Identity in 2013. She has also published a book of poems titled, Leftovers in 2015.
Lachrista is an experienced speaker and educator who has spoken at colleges, universities, and nonprofits nationally and internationally. The topics she speaks on include: Guerrilla Feminism, digital activism/strategies, learning disabilities, Italianità, domestic & sexual violence, and trauma-informed yoga.
