Lachrista has over a decade of experience writing, educating, speaking, and curating in digital social justice spaces. Her work has been featured in The Progressive, NPR, Scarleteen, Bitch, and others. Lachrista has her Master’s Degree in Women’s & Gender Studies, and is currently in school to obtain her MLIS in Library and Information Science. She has spoken at colleges, universities, and nonprofits nationally and internationally about digital spaces and activism, online abuse, feminism, STIs, learning disabilities, sexual violence, and Italianità.
Lachrista has published two books: Olive Grrrls: Italian North American Women & The Search For Identity, and Leftovers. She is currently writing a third book called, Guerrilla Feminism, represented by Howland Literary.
She lives in Madison, Wisconsin (with pieces of her heart in Italy), practices stregoneria, and is a Librarian-in-Training.
